Do I need previous touring experience?
Not necessarily, but you do need strong resort fundamentals, solid fitness, and the ability to ride confidently on steeper terrain in mixed snow.
Is this suitable for snowboarders and skiers?
Yes, provided the final group is matched well and all riders meet the required level.
Do I need avalanche gear?
Yes. Beacon, shovel, and probe are required for freeride and touring components.
Will the itinerary stay exactly the same?
No. The framework stays consistent, but specific objectives will adapt to weather, visibility, snowpack, and lift operations.
Are helmets required?
Yes on the Italian side: from the 2025/26 winter season, certified helmets are mandatory for all users on groomed slopes and equipped downhill areas.
