‘There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens’ – Ecclesiastes 3:1
We all go through many different times in our lives. Each period of time can be known as a season. We can go through seasons where we feel lost and broken or seasons where we feel loved and joyful. We can go from a season where everything makes sense to a season where nothing is clear. Sometimes through these seasons it can be hard to see why it’s happening and even harder to see when that season will end.
I’m telling you that there have definitely been endless times when I’ve been through a season and I’ve cried out to God, asking Him why it’s happening, asking Him what it’s all about, wondering when it’s all going to end. But, what I didn’t realise and still don’t realise all the time is that, these seasons that I face, whether they’re filled with happiness or brokenness, all happen for a reason. They all prepare me for what’s coming. They all lead me to where Jesus want me to be. And it’s exactly the same for you…
Now, I don’t know what season you may be going through, but what I do know is that whatever season you’re in right now, God is in control. He knows your heart and He knows the plan He has for your life. And that plan is to prosper you, it’s to give you a hope and a future. He is going to use this season that you’re in to prepare you for what’s coming. He’ll use this to shape you into the person he want you to be.
You may not understand anything that’s going on right now, but when you look back you’ll realise why God brought you through it. You will begin to understand what that season was for and why you needed it to happen in your life.
Through this season that you’re going through, you need to trust in Him. You need to trust the process that God’s taking you through. You need to realise and trust that this season will lead you to where you need to be. It may take some time to go through, it may not make any sense and it may be hard… however, through it all… God is with you. He knows you. He knows what you can handle right now. He knows where you need to be and most importantly… He loves you.
Trust the process. Trust the season. Remember… Every Season Counts.
